Weare, NH – April 10, 2008 – Granite State Telephone recently donated three Dell computer systems to the Hillsboro-Deering Elementary School. The systems that were donated are equipped with matching 17" monitors, keyboards, power cords, and mice. The school plans to use the computers for educational purposes in the classroom.
"Adding student computers to our classroom has been a challenging goal in the last several years," comments Hillsboro-Deering Elementary School principal, Ellen Klein. "Granite State Telephone's donation, along with a purchase by our PTO, has allowed us to meet and exceed our goal to provide at least one student computer in every classroom. Our children will benefit greatly from this added resource and we are truly grateful for [Granite State Telephone's] willingness to make this contribution."
"We were pleased to be able to assist the Hillsboro-Deering Elementary School with their goal," comments Susan Rand King, GST president. "We make a priority of supporting the area schools in their efforts to bring technology into the classroom."
